Two Incredible Individual Flames Performances this Season

This fall, our Flames athletes represented the LFC across Illinois — with two students in our individual sports teams performing exceptionally. In golf, 10th grader Zora M. qualified for her second consecutive IHSA State Championship. Her determination and skill paid off, as she finished 49th out of 110 competing players. An incredible performance, of which she can be very proud! In sailing, senior Madeline T. placed first in the regional high school regatta after sailing a single-handed radial. This past weekend she traveled to New Orleans, where she competed against the top 12 high school sailors from across the United States in the Cressy National High School. She finished in the top half of the competition, placing sixth. Congratulations to both our students on their incredible achievements!
