Three Successful Flames Seasons at LFC

This year, our Flames athletes represented LFC throughout Illinois with enthusiasm and talent. They achieved impressive results and we are proud of their accomplishments:
Autumn Season
- Middle school:
- In soccer, our boys team finished second in the league after an undefeated season leading up to the final.
- High school:
- In soccer, our girls team won the championship–defeating the British International School 2-0.
- In cross-country, our boys team finished first in the Lakeshore Athletic League, with Adam B. scoring the title “Best Runner!”
Winter Season
- Middle school:
- In basketball, our boys Junior Varsity (Grades 6-7) and Varsity (Grade 8) teams placed second in their league after their loss to British. Our girls team shined throughout their season before losing the final to Catherine Cook.
- High school:
- In basketball, our boys Varsity team were the champions of their league after defeating Intrinsic High School during the final match.
Spring Season
- Middle School
- In volleyball, our boys—Junior Varsity (Grades 6-7) and Varsity (Grade 8)—made history twice, winning their league after two unforgettable finals!
- In soccer, our girls team placed third in the CAMS league after an impressive season.
- In track and field, individually, François P.-L. and Nya S. qualified for the Illinois State Finals for the 100m dash, in addition to Marie-Sophie L.-S. and Nya who qualified for the 200m dash. Outstanding performances!
- High School
- In soccer, our girls team won the championship against British.
- In tennis, Marc de V. qualified for the Illinois State Finals. An incredible achievement!
- In track and field, the boys team dominated their league—winning a first place title! Among them, Louis K. (400m dash), Adam B. (800m dash) and Maya L. (long jump) qualified for the Illinois State Finals! Exceptional results.
In addition to these outstanding performances, our Flames athletes have topped the podium in every AEFE sports competition this year—covering everything from basketball to volleyball, mini-olympiades and, most recently, dance! Many thanks to their respective coaches for their dedication and professionalism.
