“Oui” Are Involved: The Lee Family
The Lycée has a proud culture of engagement and philanthropy. Our series, “Oui” are Involved, highlights community members who give their time, expertise and resources to help enhance the LFC experience for all. This week, we learn more about the Lees, an American family who joined the LFC community in 2015 and have two children, Caoilinn in Grade 7 and Keira in Grade 5.
Tell us about yourself.
I am a stay-at-home parent of two and volunteer. I currently volunteer at the Lycée and with the ACLU. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor who has worked with youth and adults with severe mental illness in a range of community mental health settings. My husband Josh is an attorney with Norton Rose Fulbright LLC.
How and why do you choose to get involved at the Lycée?
I started volunteering at the Lycée as a room parent as a way to stay connected with my kids and their teachers. Then I started with the French Market to meet more parents. My friendships with other parents led me to volunteer with the annual campaign, welcome committee, Soirée and DEI. Currently, I am on the Board and co-chair the DEI committee.

My favorite volunteer event is the French Market. Seeing our community work together to create such an amazing event that the entire community can enjoy is incredible.
