Meet Our New Board Members
The LFC Board of Trustees is pleased to welcome its newest members, Keith Brenan, Eric Jensen and Jenn Lejano, whose three-year terms will start on July 1, 2023. The Board is also pleased to welcome current Board member Brigitte Ozzello as the new Chair-elect, under Virginie Ott-Bono, who is entering her second and final year as Chair. Brigitte will begin her two-year term as Chair on July 1, 2024.
After four years in Board leadership, Kelsey Burr is finishing his term as past-Chair. We thank him for his leadership and hard work over the last four years. Thank you also to Michael Fields for his work on the Board, as his family moves out of state. You will be missed!

Keith Brenan
Joined the LFC: 2015
Children at LFC: 2 (rising 8th and 12th graders)
Nationality: American
Occupation: Principal & Managing Director, Weitzman Associates
Past LFC Volunteerism: Annual Fund Co-chair; Development Committee
Interesting Fact:
When our children started at the LFC at differing times, they were in 2nd and 4th grade, with no French background. The Lycée’s tremendous resources enabled Meghan and James to learn, and be comfortable with, the French language very quickly.
Motivation for Joining the Board:
When considering schools for our kids, my wife Rachel and I were looking for a school in Chicago with a global perspective, a challenging curriculum and a collection of teachers that care about their students and are passionate about their profession. We quickly realized that the Lycée checked all the boxes. This positive experience at the LFC has motivated me to help keep the LFC strong and thriving for future generations.
Eric Jensen
Joined the LFC: 2017
Children at LFC: 2 (rising MS and 5th grader)
Nationality: American
Occupation: Operations Director, Nordic Capital
Past LFC Volunteerism: Finance Committee
Interesting Fact:
When I was growing up, I had the good fortune to start learning French at a relatively young age (at least by U.S. standards) and spend some time living with a French family in the Alps. This experience opened my world view and made me appreciate the differences and, more importantly, the similarities between people across the world. I wanted to instill that same openness in my children.
Motivation for Joining the Board:
I truly believe that the Lycée is a hidden gem within Chicago. Through greater awareness and understanding of the benefits of a Lycée education, I have no doubt that we can grow the Lycée community in the coming years. I am excited and energized at the prospect of supporting those efforts as a Board member.
Jennifer Lejano
Joined the LFC: 2019
Children at LFC: 1 (rising 2nd grader)
Nationality: American
Occupation: President and Co-founder, Fresh Eyes Digital
Past LFC Volunteerism: President of the Parent Association; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee; Development Committee
Interesting Fact:
My wife Elsie and I chose the Lycée for our daughter Parker, as Elsie is French and Filipino and grew up attending UNIS - an international school in New York City. We wanted to give Parker the gift of bilingualism in a multicultural environment and a connection to her Maman’s cultural heritage and French family.
Motivation for Joining the Board:
I love looking ahead at opportunities and envisioning all the ways our school can grow and flourish. I am excited to continue to work with this impressive team of parents and community members so invested in the strength and long-term success and vitality of our school.
