Gaga Ball is a Hit

The LFC has a popular new addition to its playground, a Gaga Ball court, thanks to the work of our 3rd-grade delegates! This gentler version of dodgeball, where players try to eliminate opponents by hitting them below the knee with a ball, was introduced to many LFC students during their 2nd and 4th-grade trips to Camp Edwards. They enjoyed it so much that last year, elementary school delegates, elected by their peers to represent their classes' ideas to school leadership, advocated successfully for the school to install a Gala Ball court. Since the start of the new school year, the court has been busy, with students from elementary through high school enjoying the game. Congratulations to our delegates for their impact.
