Flames Homecoming: A Weekend of School Spirit

Four photos from the 2024 Flames Homecoming

At the end of September, the LFC celebrated its second-ever Flames Homecoming. Complete with victories from our volleyball and soccer teams, followed by a "Night in Hollywood" for high school students, both the Homecoming Games and Dance were a great success thanks to the support of our many parent volunteers, the PA High School Social Life Committee and Athletics Department.

Starting with the Homecoming Pep Rally, which took place at school on September 27, students enjoyed performances from our Flames cheerleaders in preparation for the evening. Followed shortly by the event, which welcomed nearly 350 participants (including Flamy!), our players, students, staff and community members enjoyed the treats, burgers and Flames merch for sale.

The games began with our middle school girls competing against GEMS in volleyball and JV high school boys competing against British in soccer. Both teams came out on top, as the girls won 2-0 and the boys won 4-2. Continuing the victory streak, our JV and Varsity girls volleyball teams beat Acero Cruz 2-0 each, and our Varsity boys soccer team beat British 2-0. Extraordinary!

The following night, our high school students celebrated their La La Land-themed Homecoming Dance in the LFC gymnasium. With 200 students attending, the DJ brought everyone to the dance floor, the photobooth made unforgettable memories, and the chocolate fountain and mocktails were a big hit. Thank you to our high school parent volunteers and staff chaperones, who worked hard to make the evening magical for everyone!
