Entrepreneurial Adventures in Grades 11 and 12

Collage of four images of high school students taking part in Start'up Lycée

Mid-October, 30 of our 11th and 12th-grade Bac and IB students took part in the fourth edition of Start'up Lycée — an entrepreneurial challenge where teams, guided by experienced coaches, develop a viable start-up plan based on real-world development and growth strategies. Throughout two days of competition, seven groups pitched their ideas to a jury of five professionals. Félicitations to our winners Stella B., Tessa L., Mikaela M. and Anthony Y. on their new business, "Pocket Pilot", an app helping students control their anxiety, develop healthy habits, and live better lives. They won a one-year "Young Professional" membership to the French American Chamber of Commerce as well as the protection of their idea at the INPI, the National Institute of Intellectual Property. A rewarding entrepreneurial experience for all.
