Flames Homecoming: A Weekend of School Spirit

Four photos of students enjoy the third-annual Flames Homecoming

At the end of September, the LFC celebrated its third Homecoming weekend. Friday night brought school spirit, enthusiasm, and large crowds to our volleyball and soccer games, while Saturday’s “Golden Hour” dance was a hit among high school students. A big thank-you to our Athletics Department, PA High School Social Life Committee, and the many parent volunteers who made both the Flames Homecoming and Homecoming Dance a huge success!

Starting on Friday afternoon with the Homecoming Pep Rally, students kicked off the weekend with a performance of our new school anthem, followed by introductions of our teams and their players. Shortly afterward, the Homecoming event welcomed nearly 350 participants (including Flamy!). Players, students, staff, and community members enjoyed treats, burgers, and Flames merch for sale—including school-colored bracelets, which were a hit among everyone. The Flames cheerleaders stole the show, delivering lively performances in both the gym and on the soccer field! This year’s competition was intense, with only our high school boys dominating their opponents 7–3 in their game against Intrinsic.

The following night, our high school students celebrated their Golden Hour-themed Homecoming Dance in the LFC gymnasium. With 190 students and friends in attendance, the DJ brought everyone to the dance floor with a student-curated playlist. Guests enjoyed mocktails, hot dogs, candy, and—best of all—an all-you-can-eat ice cream bar! A raffle added to the excitement, with three lucky winners going home with Amazon gift cards. Thank you to our PA High School Social Life Committee, parent volunteers, and staff chaperones who worked hard to make the evening magical for everyone!
