Last week, we welcomed representatives from the International Baccalaureate Organization as part of our IB re-accreditation process. Coinciding with our ISACS (Independent Schools Association of the Central States) re-accreditation, it has been a busy but unique opportunity to reflect holistically on our programs. The insights gained from these two successive evaluations will allow us to continue to improve the experience and quality of education at LFC.

The 3rd-grade class representatives are embracing their leadership roles! After informing Mr. Léon, Director of Primary, about the need for more sports balls at recess, they visited other elementary classes to gather a full list of requests. Their final list, including basketballs, volleyballs, jump ropes, stilts and sidewalk chalk, is now ready to be ordered. Many classes also requested a plant for their classroom!
In January, 5th graders had a chance to step into 6th grade for a day! They attended classes with middle school teachers and spoke with 6th-grade delegates, gaining valuable insights as they prepare to move to the third floor next year. We hope this preview excited them for the big transition ahead!
