  • The LFC Board of Trustees has officially approved our 2025-2030 Strategic Plan. This new five-year vision, which is the result of 18 months of collaborative work, is guided by four core principles: Growing Our Reach and Impact by expanding our community of learners; Cultivating Global Citizens through a transformative educational experience; Securing a Sustainable Future by strategically investing in our people, programs, and facilities; and Connecting and Collaborating by fostering a thriving ecosystem of families, alumni, and partners. It is a great way to celebrate our 30th anniversary and look toward the future! Details to come.
  • LFC*daycare is open! Our expanded daycare has opened in its new, fully renovated building one block from LFC, featuring four bright classrooms and a gross motor room for children 15 months and up. After transitioning from two classrooms at the LFC, the new space opened with 23 students and is growing fast, with full capacity of 62 expected by February. We are proud to share our bilingual mission with our youngest learners.
  • Congratulations to our Brevet Laureates! In early November, our 10th-grade students received their official Brevet diplomas (for the exam taken at the end of Grade 9) during a special ceremony. We were honored to welcome Chicago's new French Consul General, Charlotte Montel, for the occasion. This year's results are, once again, exceptional: a 100% pass rate (compared with 85.6% in France and 93% in the US), including 84% honors.
  • Senior Louis K. proudly represented LFC at the IHSA Cross Country state finals on Saturday. The student-athlete qualified for this top event and ran a personal-best time of 16:45 for the three-mile race. A major accomplishment!
