"Oui" Are Involved: The Khemani Family

The Lycée has a proud culture of engagement and philanthropy. Our series, “Oui” are Involved, highlights community members who give their time, expertise and resources to help enhance the LFC experience for all. This week, we learn more about LFC Board member Kish Khemani and Anita Chandwaney, an American family who joined the LFC community in 2014 and have two children, Serene and Rohan, both in 6th grade at LFC.

Tell us about yourself.

We have been a Lycee family since Petite and residents of Lincoln Square since 2012. We are thrilled to live in the same neighborhood as our very special school. There’s nothing we enjoy more than being able to meet and greet fellow families in the neighborhood.

How and why do you choose to volunteer your time at the LFC?

The Lycee offered a very special and unique educational experience for our children. It’s a pleasure to be involved with the school, in any way we can.

Share a favorite LFC moment.

We always enjoy watching the graduating seniors run through the school giving high-fives to every student. It reminds us of the tight connection of the community throughout.
