German Exchange Trip to Munich

Student on study abroad.

In March, our 9th and 10th grade German students spent ten days in Munich to study language, culture and form international friendships. Here, they stayed with host families and were immersed in everyday school activities alongside their German pen pals. They visited historic sights in downtown Munich and Salzburg, as well as took day trips to the New Herrenchiemsee Palace, the BMW production sight and the Dachau concentration camp memorial. Students were accompanied on their trip by their German teacher, Iryna Mysko, and supervisor, Florian Varin. This wonderful experience will continue in October, when their German pen pals visit Chicago!
