The 2023 Project: A Préau
The 2022-2023 Oui" Fund the Future project features a large outdoor multipurpose pavilion, a préau, that will provide our students, teachers and community with shelter from the sun and rain!
Thanks to your generous support, we are now able to make our préau dreams a reality!
Research shows that outdoor time improves students’ moods and increases academic performance. For this very reason, most schools in France have a préau.
Our teachers and students have been asking for one for years, wanting fresh air on rainy days or relief from the sun on hot ones.
A Préau Provides Benefits For All
- High school, middle school, elementary and maternelle students will all be able to spend quality time outdoors in both sunny and rainy weather
- Teachers will have new opportunities for outdoor activities
- The Parent Association will be able to hold events outside, day and night

Ensuring a vibrant LFC.
Meeting the evolving needs of students and teachers is at the heart of the “Oui” Fund the Future initiative.
Each year, the LFC raises funds for a project to enhance the school, selected by evaluating student and teacher needs and in conjunction with the school's master planning vision. Through funds raised leading up to and at La Soirée, we create a more vibrant and inviting educational environment where our students and teachers feel supported and engaged.
