To make the process more efficient and objective, the Lycée utilizes the online services of FACTS, a tuition management company whose services are used by over 7,000 schools, and many French international schools in the US, to process applications.
FACTS Financial Aid Assessment is the most widely used needs-analysis program for private K-12 schools in the United States. FACTS does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give; rather, FACTS provides a need-based financial aid analysis, which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. Completed FACTS applications for financial aid are reviewed by the school’s Financial Aid Committee. Financial aid is awarded if need is demonstrated and as long as funds are available. Adherence to deadlines is extremely important. Applications are not fully submitted until they are complete with all required documentation. All information from FACTS is held in strict confidence, and any financial aid provided is treated as a confidential matter between the Financial Aid Committee and the family.
Financial aid awards are reviewed annually and are made based on the family’s current financial status. Families receiving financial aid for the past school year must re-apply each year. FACTS charges applicants a fee of $45 for their service. The application fee is non-refundable and payable by Master, Visa, Discover, or American Express cards, directly to FACTS.
Important: In order to be considered for financial aid, you must also apply and complete the LFC admissions process.
