Transportation
Getting to school should be the easiest part of your day.
We offer a variety of safe, convenient, and sustainable transportation options to serve our busy families from the city and the suburbs.
To ease traffic congestion and support our school's sustainability efforts, we encourage all families to explore our bus program, public transit, biking and walking.

LFC Morning Bus Program
Our bus service is designed to make your morning routine smoother and stress-free, especially for students in Pre-K through Grade 8.
Safety & Convenience
We prioritize your child's safety and your peace of mind. Our bus program features:
- Real-Time Tracking: An easy-to-use mobile GPS app lets you track the bus in real-time.
- Instant Communication: Each route has a dedicated parent WhatsApp group for instant updates.
- Secure Boarding: Students use a swipe card for attendance when boarding and exiting the bus, so we always know who is on board.
- Personal Welcome: Upon arrival, our receptionist personally boards the bus to greet students, release safety harnesses for our youngest riders, and escort everyone directly and safely into the school.
- Comfortable Ride: Students sit in assigned grade-level bands, building community while ensuring a comfortable ride for everyone.
Bus Routes
We offer three primary morning routes, with stops centralized in parent-approved, safe locations. Please note: Routes and specific stops are reviewed annually and may change based on ridership and traffic patterns.
- North Route: Serving Wilmette, Evanston, Rogers Park, and West Ridge
- West Route: Serving West Town, Wicker Park, Bucktown, and Logan Square
- South Route: Serving Hyde Park, Streeterville, Lincoln Park, and Lakeview
