At the Main Campus

Students can either bring a lunch from home or register for the Hot Lunch Service provided by Gourmet Gorilla, who specializes in organic foods. In accordance with the school’s recycling program, and in an effort to minimize waste and keep associated costs down, each child registered for the hot lunch service must bring his or her own reusable food container with a lid to school every day, along with a fork, spoon and cup. Drinking water is provided by the school.

Middle school students can also buy their lunch at Café Lycée Français with a card system (25 dollars in value). The Café Lycée Français is provided by Green Monkey, who also specializes in organic foods. Cards can be purchased in the business office of the school.
Ninth graders are allowed to purchase their lunch off campus.

At the National Louis University Campus

Students in the 10th through 12th grades can either bring their own lunches or purchase a meal off campus.

Food Allergies

The Lycée is a PEANUT-FREE school. Please do not bring any foods with peanuts or peanut-based products for class snacks or student lunches.

Though our school caterers do not use nuts or nut products in the cooking for Lycée Français, some of the food items are prepared on equipment also used in preparing food including peanuts, tree nuts and seeds.

LUNCH FROM HOME
Also, to the families who provide lunch for their children, we highly recommend to AVOID the use of DISPOSABLE materials and over-packaged food: best is to use REUSABLE PLASTIC CONTAINERS as well as REUSABLE CUPS (OR BOTTLES) AND SILVERWARE.
