The Lycée offers a career internship program as part of its 9th grade curriculum. It is designed to give students a concrete experience in the professional world and enable them to make an enlightened future career choice.

Finding the internship is part of the program, and we provide the advice and assistance our students may need in this process, whether they are seeking an experience in a medical practice, industrial company, advertising agency or an government agency. Typically, we place a student in a company for three days. The objective is that he/she will acquire a global view of the organization, learn how the host company/department functions, and take part in a specific project.

At the conclusion of the internship, students complete a detailed report that includes:

• General description of the company (location, number of employees, function, product or service, etc.)
• Things learned about the particular position he/she observed during the internship (job description, required qualifications, hours, advantages and disadvantages, etc.)
• Things learned about an activity specific to the company/organization
• Report on what tasks were undertaken and accomplished during each day of the internship
