In addition to regular child-care and homework help, the Lycee offers a series of popular workshops called Les Ateliers that includes Sports, Visual Arts, Performing Arts and other popular activities such as Mad Science, Robotics, Fencing or Chess Wizards. This program is complemented by a strong music program and language classes for children. Students registered for an Atelier are placed under the supervision of the After-school Program staff until the start of their workshop. A snack is served. Most Ateliers run from 3:45 to 4:45 pm.

Unless they have registered their child for our Evening 2 option, parents must pick up their children punctually in the Irving Park Entrance Hall. A sign-out sheet must be signed by parents/authorized persons. A child who is not picked-up on time will be welcomed in our homework help or child care program; Families who are picking-up their children consistently late will be automatically registered for the Evening 2 option. Fees for each atelier must be paid in full at the time of registration or before the first class starts. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. There will be no refunds in case of absence or should a student not complete the full session. Students who are not enrolled at the Lycée Français must fill out and return an Emergency Form. An atelier may be canceled for lack of registrations.

For grades 3-5 students! Sports for younger students are part of the ateliers schedule.
Basketball seasons include participation in various leagues for Boys and Girls. Games with other schools will be organized as well for our soccer and volleyball teams.
