As an independent school that receives no government funding, the Lycée's ability to provide a unique educational experience is directly proportional to the investments made by the members of our community.

Each year the Board of Trustees and Parent Association ask all Lycée families to make a financial contribution to the school's Annual Giving Campaign. These contributions are vital for the school's continuing growth and success.

Tuition covers only 90 percent of the school's operating budget, as we strive to keep it as low as possible. Annual contributions and event proceeds help bridge the gap between the school's revenues and day-to-day expenses, as well as to fund special projects and strategic initiatives as determined by the Board of Trustees and administration.

Every Lycée family is expected to make a gift according to their means toward the school's goal of 100 percent participation. High participation demonstrates the community's commitment to the school's mission and academic excellence, which make up our strength and reputation and are important to our long-term health.

We also seek corporate and foundation sources to underwrite various programs and initiatives. Broad participation among Lycée parents in the Annual Giving Campaign helps the school attract outside corporate and foundation support and also helps secure gifts from parent's employers with matching gift programs.

The Lycée is a recognized 501 (c ) (3) by the United States Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service. Most gifts are fully deductible to the extent allowable by law.
