Tuition & Financial Aid

TUITION SCHEDULE FOR THE 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR

FOR ALL GRADES  TUITION 
Pre-kindergarten – 12th Grade  $15, 980

Tuition does not include books, supplemental materials for classroom use, field trips, mandatory student accident insurance, in-house programs and lunch. Tuition is revised every school year following the decisions of the Board of Trustees on the budget for the following year.

Terms

A 75-dollar non-refundable application fee is due with the application. A 700-dollar tuition deposit is due with the signed enrollment contract and is non-refundable. The balance of tuition and fees is paid in two installments on July 15 and Dec. 1. Monthly payments are available as well over 10 months.

There is a $750 New Family Fee for entering families. This is a one-time only fee per family . Payment of the fee will be with the first invoice.

Lycée Financial Aid

The Lycée Français de Chicago earmarks a certain portion of its funds for financial aid. Financial aid awarded is based solely on need and without regard to race, religion, national or ethnic background. The Lycée’s financial aid is destined primarily for children who are not eligible to apply for or receive financial aid from any other source.

French Government Scholarships

Children of French nationality are eligible to apply for financial aid through the Consulate General of France in Chicago. The child must be of French nationality and reside with his/her parents. Information––including the application deadline, which changes annually––and application forms are available on the website of the Consulate General of France at www.consulfrance-chicago.org.

Completed applications are accepted at the consulate at the beginning of the calendar year for the following school year. It is imperative to apply before the deadline.
